Kihei Road, Unit # 124 –Building #5 Kihei, Maui, Hawaii The Tiki Hut is… A ground floor Air conditioned condo on the “beach end” of building #5. One bedroom and one full bath. A queen size sofa-bed is in the living room. The Tiki Hut is an “end unit” That means extra windows for the welcome tropical breezes and natural light. Every window has a garden view, and the lanai is very private. Building #5 is not too close to the noisy road, (so you will get that good nights sleep), Building #5 is very close to the huge pool (one of the largest in Kihei!) Building #5 is right next door to the Resort office/ Laundry facility building, which has an extra bathroom for guest use, and many large washer & dryers. Do all your loads at the same time while you sit by the pool or on the Tiki Hut lanai (same distance), and never have to run a hot dryer inside the Tiki Hut!

Old World Hawaii: When we fell in love with The Tiki Hut, it had a lot to do with the wonderful feeling of aloha that we felt from the first time we walked in. We began to research local Master carvers (each has their own style) and met a very talented Hawaiian whose family has been carving for many generations and has won many awards. His name is Fa’asolo, but his friends call him “Solo”. He is the artist of all our tikis and the sign on our door (house of tiki).For the tiki on the entryway table he was thinking of our little condo as he carved it for us and he added many details and a story is carved on the back with a sail boat. This tiki is for powerful protection for us and all who stay as our guests. The others are for good health and fortune. And…
State-of-the-Art Technology: Way too many times have we lost our hotel key card, or had to stand there while someone tried to find it in a bag or purse with one million other items. Keys that are stored in lock boxes are also a pain. Those lock boxes can be tricky to open and shut, and those keys get lost also…only since you’re staying at a privately owned condo, you have to wait for a locksmith to come out and make a new key. Combination door knobs seemed like a good idea, but we would be giving the same code out to many guests and if it got into the wrong hands…well, that didn’t seem too secure. We found the perfect solution! We are the only owners at the Kihei Kai Nani Resort who have been willing to invest in this amazing Keyless Access code Entry System. It is very high-tech, but what it comes down to is this, I generate a personal code for each reservation. The code is only valid starting at “check-in” on the date of arrival and expires at ‘check-out’ on departure date. Each Reservation has their own personal 6-digit code. If for some reason a guest wishes to change their assigned code; they can give me a toll free call and I can change it in about 10 seconds. This is the same system used by the post offices, hospitals, even the Pentagon! This is a VERY user friendly system; kids love it! We have had fantastic feedback...let us know what you think?
